Family forest walk – National Biodiversity Month

Family forest walk – National Biodiversity Month

Celebrate National Biodiversity Month with volunteer Aston and Brandon, as they lead a fun and engaging guided walk along the stroller-friendly 1.2 km Ironbark Track at Karawatha Forest. Parents, grandparents and carers can relax and learn with the little ones while volunteer guides share their knowledge of local flora and fauna along the way during this family-friendly adventure.

Requirements: Wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. Note: Any walks or outside activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
