Richard Newsome’s debut novel, The Billionaire’s Curse, won the Text Prize for Children’s and Young Adult writing in 2008, and has been published in nine countries. The sixth and final book in the Billionaire series will be published in 2015. Richard is currently undertaking a PhD in Creative Writing at The University of Queensland.

The Express Year of the Novel is not a beginner course. This course is for writers looking to strengthen their craft through the development of a long form work. All students receive feedback from the tutor on the first 10 pages of their work-in-progress.
