Debbie Parker’s 2017 Solo Exhibition is an exploration of familiar Australian icons using light, colour and the gestural mark. In this exhibition she continues to explore the local environment around Mount Coot Tha and leafy Auchenflower with pastel and acrylic medium she concentrates on the light.

In life nothing is still, light plays tricks with the eye and this exhibition uses the play of light to create distortions that suggest movement. Each composition is carefully planned to explain a particular story about light, the time of day and the interaction of subjects within the space.

In this exhibition Debbie has extended her colour pallet and the work is even freer than her 2016 solo. A silent auction will be held where you you can name your price on a selection of beautiful Pastel drawings in conservation mounts. All other works are very affordable.
