Earth Hour

Earth Hour

This year will be the most important Earth Hour ever. This past year, the impacts of one emergency after another were felt across the country. Just as the last of the flames from the 2019-20 bushfires were extinguished, COVID-19 gripped the world and slowed down our efforts to restore and regenerate Australia.

This Earth Hour, WWF-Australia is encouraging individuals to make the switch for nature. Whether you switch to a solar power system, switch to an electric vehicle, or simply switch off for Earth Hour, you can support our planet by taking part in the world’s largest movement for the environment.

To encourage participants to make the switch, every person who signs up for Earth Hour will go in the running to win a Fonz Moto electric scooter!

Join millions of people across the world, and iconic landmarks like the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Eiffel tower in Paris and the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, and #SwitchOff at 8:30 pm local time on Saturday March 27 2021.
