DZ Deathrays Bloody Lovely pop-up bar

DZ Deathrays Bloody Lovely pop-up bar

Opening for one night only at Greaser, the DZ Deathrays Bloody Lovely pop-up bar is the coming-to-life of the imaginary bar represented on the album cover and offer a chance for fans to fully immerse themselves in the world of Bloody Lovely. The bar will operate on a free entry, walk-ups only, first in best dressed policy.

Based on the band’s desire to have always wanted to open a dive bar, this pop-up is a chance for the guys to test the waters and also launch Bloody Lovely with a bang. The record is meant to reflect the fun, chill and pool-shark vibes of a dive bar, so what better way to launch it than at an actual dive?

DZ Deathrays (also known as Shane Parsons and Simon Ridley) will be at the bar hanging out, playing a DJ set and generally ensuring that Bloody Lovely is as divey and debaucherous as they envisaged it to be. Along with getting to hang out with the band, fans will have access to exclusive merchandise, including a limited edition translucent pink pressing of Bloody Lovely on vinyl exclusive to the pop-up.

To commemorate the album and opening of the Bloody Lovely Pop-Up Bars around the country, DZ and Young Henrys have again teamed up and will be launching a re-brew of their collaborative Pills ‘N’ Thrills Pilsner at the Bloody Lovely pop-up bar. Ain’t that a treat!
