Dots+Loops Nonstop
Uniting a rag tag team of local Brisbane musos, Dots+Loops Nonstop returns for a six-hour celebration of Brisbane’s most exciting artists. The mini festival will transform the upstairs Barrel Hall of Newstead Brewing Co. Milton into a festival wonderland with two stages, an art gallery, an indoor beer garden and much more. The festival will see a magical line-up of performers take to the stage including Cre8tive Nations’ incredible artists, Shoeb Ahmad, Madeleine Cocolas, David Moran, Erik Griswold and the string sensations of Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestram, Cameron Bower, Cigány Weaver, Expo 88 and AVAXA.
Alongside this bewitching bounty of musical talent, the festival features visual art curated by The Third Quarter, a multidisciplinary installation from local artists Tim Tate and Zenobia Frost commissioned by Dots+Loops, and a special exhibition of photography in memory of Cre8tive Nations’ co-founder, LaVonne Bobongie. In between all of the action, punters will be able to tuck in to some tantalising bites and knock back Newstead Brewing Co. beers – which just so happen to be brewed onsite. To make sure everyone can join in, tickets for Dots+Loops Nonstop are pay-what-you-can-afford (minimum $20), with the suggested ticket price being $35.
