Diversity @ Dusk – The Culture Train

All aboard! As part of Queensland Multicultural Month, the state’s biggest celebration of our multiculturalism and cultural diversity, the Culture Train is rolling into town. Featuring a travelling collective of traditional and contemporary musicians and performances, the tour finishes up at the Queensland Multicultural Centre for closing event Diversity @ Dusk.

The tour showcases six world-renowned artists from ethnically diverse backgrounds, allowing audiences to immerse themselves in a distinctive cultural and musical experience. The program of free concerts will be stopping in 16 regional communities before it makes its way to Brisbane.

Key themes of the month are the value of diversity, arts and culture, elders and storytelling, with the tour driving home the message of harmony and inclusion. Emerging local talents get the chance to truly shine, all the while bringing people in regional communities together for an almighty celebration of Queensland and its cultural variety.

The action kicks off at 4:00 pm with a range of activities, and the main performances start at 7:00 pm. To check out the line-up and learn more about the artists who will be performing, visit this guide.
