Following on from her first cookbook release Always Add Lemon, Danielle Alvarez draws on her love of Italian and French food, her Cuban roots, and time spent cooking in California and Australia for her latest book. Recipes for a Lifetime of Beautiful Cooking is designed to help you find happiness in your kitchen with the best that is available to you.

Hosted by Scrumptious Reads in Red Hill, Danielle Alvarez will launch Recipes for a Lifetime of Beautiful Cooking to Brisbane home cooks with an intimate in-conversation event, while also treating foodie fans to a live cooking demonstration – how to make (and nail) a classic flaky pastry, which she will then turn into Pissaladiere.

The event is free to attend, though online bookings are essential.
