Coochiemudlo Island Festival

The Ministry For Fun and 4000 Records invite you to the inaugural Coochiemudlo Island Festival!

Taking place in the native Mudlo Gardens and sprawling out onto the main beach foreshore, the family-friendly event is taking place on Saturday May 8.

Featuring a stacked line up of East Coast talent including Bobby Alu (solo), Chocolate Strings, Karl S. Williams, The Double Happiness, Ruby Gilbert, Adele & The Chandeliers, The Holy Rollercoasters and local island bands. With a strong focus on community and highlighting the treasured natural beauty of the island, the day will feature artisanal stalls, plenty of activities for kids young and old, a wide range of food and of course musical entertainment that is guaranteed to keep feet moving all the way into the night.

Coochiemudlo Island is in the Redland City district, just a short distance from Brisbane city. Hop on the ferry at Victoria Point and enjoy the short eight minute ferry ride, leave behind the concrete jungle and enter a hidden island paradise via the emerald fringed beaches.

Information on travel, parking, ferry schedules and more can be found on the festival’s website.
