The Northern Catchments Network is inviting one and all to participate on some tree planting at Cabbage Tree Creek riparian zone near the Gateway Motorway. More than 300 native species of tree will be planted between 8:30 am and 10:30 am on Friday January 30. Closed in shoes are recommended, as are long pants, shirts with sleeves and wide brimmed hats. Bring the kids and show them the importance of environmental sustainability and the benefits of planting trees. Morning tea will be provided, so stick around and admire your hard work.
