On Saturday 12th October, The Sit Down Comedy Club presents Jimmy Poulos & Dwayne Perkins!

Jimmy Poulos is a stylish comic professional whose long career has established him not only as one of Brisbane’s most popular and successful funny men, but one of the funniest ‘Wog’ comics in the country. His sharp one-liners, machine-gun delivery and instinctive comic timing leave audiences exhausted with laughter. Jimmy’s routines, centering on his ethnic, urban upbringing, have won him a national fan-base who describe his comedy as: “First class entertainment at it’s best!”

Brooklyn native Dwayne Perkins is a young vet in the comedy game. His one hour comedy special: “Dwayne Perkins: Take Note” debuted on Netflix to rave reviews and instantly became a fan favourite. Take Note was already in the top 50 Netflix comedy specials of all time only 2 months after being released. Dwayne has earned a spot in today’s elite class of standup comics with several appearances on Comedy Central and Conan. Dwayne had headlined the Hong Kong Comedy Festival and is part of The Bob & Tom Comedy Tour in addition to headlining colleges and comedy clubs across the country.
