The cocktail wizards at Dutch Courage Officers’ Mess are breaking the rules; showing what’s up their sleeves and revealing their tricks!

A main player in Brisbane’s cocktail game, the DC team have cocktail making down to an artform. Under the knowledgeable eye of their top tier bartenders, let Dutch Courage show you how to whip up cool and courageous cocktail concoctions in your own home.

Every third Saturday of the month, head to Dutch for a themed cocktail masterclass. Things kick off Saturday February 20, centred on Fresh and Floral creations. If Fresh and Floral isn’t your thing, then have no fear; March’s focus is Liquid Desserts, followed by Gin Classics in April, Playing with Fire in May, a shift to Winter Warmers in June, and why not take a Spice Trade Sojourn in August.

Each session covers a crash course in cocktails, take home recipes, the basics of cocktail structure (perfect balance every time!) and tips on how to make something magic with whatever you have at home.

Tickets are $49 a head and include all materials, a take home info sheet, expert guidance and a how-to for three cocktails. Learning’s never been so fun (or so delicious).
