Club Cremorne
What’s got sizzle, spice and just the right balance of naughty and nice? It’s Club Cremorne, returning to QPAC to deliver you a night of laughs, lust, loops and looseness that only a world-class variety show can.
Internationally renowned Brisbane-based comedian Damien Power takes centre stage as the ringleader of this curious and bewitching circus, serving a stunning line-up of performers across multiple artistic disciplines. Audiences will be treated to tantalising appearances from the likes of versatile voicebox Tom Thum, beguiling burlesque star Jacqueline Furey and Circus Company 2 (featuring Chelsea McGuffin, Danik Abeshev and Phoebe Armstrong) along with some surprise new acts. Sachém – a triple threat spoken word poet, rapper and emerging singer – is set to join the line-up lacing rhymes with personal stories that touch on poignant social and cultural issues that have and continue to impact his life.
Thrilling circus, kick-ass beats, poetry, rap, sassy burlesque and piercing comedy will all share the spotlight for this evening of a titillatingly talented showcase – fun times guaranteed. So grab yourself a drink at the bar, seek out the best seats in the house and settle in for the return of QPAC’s Club Cremorne. It’s a bit crazy, a little naughty and very entertaining.
