Besties, booze and brilliant art, clay and sip sessions bring together all of our favourite things. There’s something so relaxing about chatting, getting tipsy and being creative.
This beginner’s clay and sip class is the perfect way to enjoy an afternoon of sculpting, pinch potting and sipping. Learn how to make a flower candle holder and with the left-over clay make a rose, and either a bear or mermaid. During the workshop you will learn basic skills like hatching, sticking together and shaping forms and will sculpt using air-drying clay. Follow along with renowned Brisbane artist Wesley Taylor as he demonstrates the process step by step and take home take home two to three small pieces. Let them dry and after around 24 to 48 hours you can paint your creations yourself with watercolours, acrylics or poster paints.
