Classic e’cco Lunch

Classic e’cco Lunch

Definitive, memorable and enduring: three characteristics that a restaurant must naturally embody to survive. But to be classic, to remain timeless (a far greater challenge), a restaurant has no choice but to evolve … and that is exactly what Brisbane dining institution, e’cco bistro will do in the new year. As e’cco looks forward to making new menus, memories and milestones, it will be celebrating with one last hoorah and farewell to what has been the home of e’cco for more than two decades.

For one day only, Philip Johnson will be back in the e’cco kitchen for one last time at Boundary Street and will put on a very special lunch which pays homage to some of his and Brisbane’s favourite classic e’cco dishes. The ‘blast from the past’ lunch will feature four of Phillip’s most requested dishes pre and post winning the coveted Australian Gourmet Traveller Restaurant of the Year award in 1997.

For $120 per person, guests will be treated to a four-course lunch of long-standing e’cco signature dishes like field mushrooms on toast, duck confit and the irresistible banana tarte tatin, with a glass of Louis Roederer on arrival. Tickets will undoubtedly sell out quickly, so those who don’t want to miss out are encouraged to snap up a spot ASAP.
