Dream-pop band Cigarettes After Sex has announced an Australian leg of their anticipated world tour – and will be landing in Brisbane in March 2025.

The news of their Australian tour, which will take them to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, comes as the band also reveal that their new LP, titled ‘X’s’, will be released in July this year. Filled with raw, imagistic, sometimes smutty vignettes set to entrancing, slow-burn pop songs, bandleader Greg Gonzalez captures every emotion a romantic arc inspires.

With billions of streams and countless sold-out performances in their wake, Cigarettes After Sex’ X’s World Tour will take in some of the globe’s most iconic venues including New York’s Madison Square Garden and London’s O2 Arena before heading down under for the band’s first Australian dates since a sold-out run of shows back in 2018.

Cigarettes After Sex will perform at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Monday March 17, 2025.

Tickets are on sale from Friday March 8, 2024.
