Christmas Lunches in The Lab – SOLD OUT
Like Santa’s workshop, The Lab’s festive lunches have something to suit everyone. Guests can roll in to the inner-city eatery every Friday throughout November and December to start celebrating the most wonderful time of the year with lavish two- and three-course Christmas feasts. Kick off your culinary journey with toothsome entrees like fresh prawns with grilled peach and rocket salad with citrus dressing, beef carpaccio with fried capers, parmesan croutons and aioli, and smoked lamb fillet with eggplant puree, capsicum gel and salsa verde.
The main affair will have mouths watering with a plethora of top-notch dishes ready to tantalise tastebuds. Stick a fork into honey-glazed ham with roast potato, broccolini and jus, beef eye-fillet with hand-cut fries, rocket salad and bearnaise sauce or chicken breast with walnut stuffing, potato puree, broccolini and cranberry jus. As we’re all aware, there’s always room for dessert and you’ll be thankful for that second stomach once the decadent sweets selection is presented. Whet your appetite for treats with Christmas pudding with brandy custard, pavlova with fresh fruits and berries, or flourless chocolate cake with vanilla-bean ice-cream. Finally, wash it all down with your choice of a glass of wine, beer, soft drink or juice.
