Christmas in The City
The City is aglow this festive season, with magical sights and sounds. A visit to the City to see the giant twinkling Christmas Tree, nightly parade and light show plus other fantastical festive delights is a must-do on every family’s holiday wish list.
The four-week, fun filled program begins with the annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree presented by St George on November 30. Make a date to attend a family favourite, the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols at Riverstage on December 8.
A must-see each year is the Christmas Parade presented by David Jones as colourful new characters bring the Queen Street Mall to life every night from 14-23 December. The captivating Gold Lotto City Hall Lights show on from December 7–24 is the perfect story-time end to a night in town doing some late-night shopping, seeing a Christmas movie or having dinner at one of the food options in town.
