This is no April Fool’s joke – Chicken Run will be screening at Boggo Road Gaol on Saturday April 1. Chicken Run is a comedy escape drama with a touch of passion set on a Yorkshire chicken farm in 1950s England. The film follows the turbulent romance between two farmyard chickens, Rocky and Ginger, who yearn for freedom and plan a daring ‘prisoner of war’ style escape.

Prior to the movie, which starts at 7:00pm sharp, we will be hosting a one-hour History or Escapes Tour at the Gaol starting at 5:00 pm sharp, so why not make a night of it! There are group discounts available for families.
