Celebrating Harmony Day at Karawatha Forest

Celebrating Harmony Day at Karawatha Forest

Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre invites families and children to help us celebrate Harmony Day. The environment centre staff and volunteers will be organising activities for children and adults alike from storytime, craft and guided walks spoken in English, Arabic, Cantonese and Spanish. By participating in Harmony Day activities, we can learn and understand how all Australians equally belong to this nation and enrich it.

Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. Note: activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
