For decades Studio Ghibli has been one of the preeminent animation houses in the world, responsible for crafting memorable films that have left long-lasting legacies. Headed by visionary director Hayao Miyazaki, Studio Ghibli has captured the imaginations of millions through its collection of acclaimed movies including Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Ponyo and Howl’s Moving Castle.

From Thursday August 24 to Wednesday September 20, Event Cinemas across Brisbane, Hoyts Sunnybank and Dendy Portside will be screening all of Studio Ghibli’s films as part of Celebrate Studio Ghibli – a showcase of the visionary talent of Hayao Miyazaki and his team.
