Carseldine Markets is taking German bratwurst to the next level at its Christmas in July Twilight Markets, and is having the very first Brat Race Bratwurst Eating Competition. Proudly sponsored by Revel Brewing Co and Snap Fitness Boondall, contestants will compete against each other, and the clock, to scoff down Brat Haus’s nefarious creation, the MEGA-WURST. With 1.2 metres of sausage on a huge French stick, topped with sauerkraut, onions and of course German mustard, this creation is not to be scoffed at. The fastest contestant of the night will receive an mega prize pack including $500 cash and a six-month gym membership from Snap Fitness Boondall, and of course the admiration of all (or the disgust … but either way you did it!). Second and third place also win cash prizes and an awesome prize pack of market goodies each!
