The creative talents of QUT Fashion students will be unleashed shortly at Brisbane’s premier fashion district, James Street, as they launch their pop-up shop, Capsule Collective. Selling limited edition garments and accessories, the store will be open for four days from November 4–7.

The event allows the public to purchase exclusive pieces from some of Brisbane’s freshest and finest emerging fashion designers. Each of the 32 students involved has created a capsule collection of directional pieces to release and sell. Guiding them through the logistical and conceptual challenges of developing and launching a pop-up store is industry mentor and QUT Fashion alum Kat Walsh of Practice Studio, while James Street and Calile Malouf Investments have provided space for the event.
