Brissie to the Bay 2020
Queensland’s biggest cycling event is back! For the past 30 years, thousands of cyclists gather and ride to fight MS! It is an opportunity to spend time with family, friends or colleagues while supporting a great cause, to help thousands of Queenslanders living with MS.
Instead of the usual one-day event, riders can choose their own path this year to raise money across the 30 days of June, to mark 30 years of the MS fund-raising event. Riders can take part virtually in the 30 for 30 challenge throughout June. Set your distance goal, log your kilometres through selected fitness apps and take the fundraising challenge to support those living with MS.
More than 4000 Queenslanders are living with MS and each week more than 10 Australians are diagnosed with MS. The MS Brissie to the Bay exists solely to raise much needed funds to ensure no Queenslander faces MS alone. Funds raised through the MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride directly supports the delivery of vital services such as physiotherapy and exercise therapy, psychology, nursing support and a phone hotline, to people living with MS and other neurological conditions.
So, what are you waiting for? Suit up in your lycra and get riding! Sign up today at Brissie to the Bay and help raise $1 million to ensure no one has to face MS alone.
