Brisbane's longest Riverfront Italian lunch

Brisbane’s longest Riverfront Italian lunch

A 250 meter-long table will line the banks of the Brisbane River as Gusto da Gianni invites family and friends to celebrate Christmas in July at Portside Wharf.

Based on the timeless tradition of the Sunday feast and the desire to celebrate with family and food, Gusto da Gianni’s banquet-style lunch is designed to bring people together over fine food, Italian wine and great conversation.

From 12:30 pm on Sunday July 24, guests will be treated to Nonna-style hospitality and authentic Italian fare, washed down with beer and wine imported from Italy.

The inaugural long lunch in 2015 saw 230 people enjoy an afternoon of good food and good company around a 100 meter-long table overlooking the Brisbane River.

There will be one long table where we’ll serve a traditional Italian feast with homemade veal raviolini, spit roasted whole suckling pig, slow braised lamb shoulder carved at the table by our chef and traditional tiramisu infused with Nutella.

Bookings essential. Contact Gusto Da Gianni 07 3868 2011.
