Get excited for the return of The Vegan Festival, which will showcase speakers, live entertainment and delicious fare on Saturday December 12 at The Brightside. The festival will be co-headlined by none other than Keegan Kuhn, filmmaker of Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret, and renowned chef, Mary Mattern of Nom Yourself. 

Brisbane Vegan Festival also welcomes Australian animal rights activist James Aspey, who embarked on a life changing and inspiring challenge ‘Voiceless 365 to 365 day’ vow of silence to raise awareness for animals and peace over violence. Food lovers can expect Pana Barbounis, founder of the popular and wildly delicious Pana Chocolate, plus Jemma Gawed of Naked Treaties will also present on the power and benefits of a whole food raw vegan lifestyle. Rounding out the line up will be Jenni Maddison (Coconut Magic), Anthony Walgett (Save A Cow), Naturally Holly (Naturopath), Rowena Jayne (Real Food Yogi) and more to be announced. Expect stalls from Pana Chocolate, Naked Treaties, Oranges Oranges, Goodmix, Slam Dunk Sandwich Co., Farm Animal Rescue, Lovechild, HRVST ST, Painted Lady Tattoo, Flavours of Indo-Pacific, Sweet Beets, Coconut Magic, Get Vegan With Jadda, Harley Boys Superfood Dog Food and more to be announced.
