Brisbane Vegan Expo

Brisbane Vegan Expo

Queensland’s largest vegan event – the Brisbane Vegan Expo – launches at the Brisbane Showgrounds next month, promising a festival of healthy eating and living, great food and entertainment.

The Brisbane Vegan Expo is an open and welcoming event, aimed at both experienced vegans and anyone curious about the benefits of going vegan. It’s easier than ever to transition to a plant-based diet and the Brisbane Vegan Expo will have a dazzling array of tapas, burgers, pies, hotdogs, jerky, cheeses, sauces, cakes, ice cream, chocolates and more to wrap your teeth around. Thousands of vegans and the vegan-curious are expected at the event, with some travelling down as far as Townsville!

Cooking demonstrations throughout the weekend will increase your culinary skills and help you make delicious vegan food at home that won’t taste like grass. Guest speakers will also share with you invaluable nutritional information about what you need to stay on top of your health.

The Brisbane Vegan Expo will also have a guest appearance by animal rights activist James Aspey.

Dozens of exhibitors will be showcasing skincare, clothing, bags, cosmetics, health supplements and eco-friendly alternatives. Whether your reason for going vegan is health, environmental, ethical or all of the above, there will be something for you.

The Brisbane Vegan Expo is on 19-20 October at the Exhibition Building, Brisbane Showgrounds. Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite, with a $5 discount for those using promo code [email protected] $2 from every ticket sold will be donated to a vegan charity.
