Brisbane Street Art Festival (BSAF)

Brisbane Street Art Festival (BSAF) will welcome a plethora of acclaimed local, national and international street artists from around the globe this May. The free public event has been taking over the streets of Brisbane since 2016, turning mere gentlefolk into aesthetes one paint stroke at a time.

Ephemeral art precinct, Superordinary Northshore, remains the festival’s central hub for this year’s program. Event highlights include the Festival Launch Party, the annual Within These Walls exhibition, a First Nations exhibition Still Here and multi-sensory immersive instalment Cognitive Dissonance. The program will have something on offer to suit every age group over the two-week period.

The city will be awash with colour with artworks by artists from around the world and across countries including Ukraine, USA and Romania alongside home-grown talents such as Taneal Teresa, Finton Magee, Katherine Viney, Sarge Jhorgenson and Huon Kane.

Save the dates and get excited for a myriad of epic events, large scale exhibitions and powerful artist panel talks alongside a massive workshop program that has something for everyone to delve into the richness and diversity of Brisbane’s public art community.

The Brisbane Street Art Festival is run by an innovative creative collective that enhances the Brisbane landscape and inspires individuals through public art. Creating space to showcase artistic offerings, BSAF presents artists and creatives across various disciplines with a platform to showcase their work. Bringing art to the streets, Brisbane Street Art Festival offers the Brisbane community a unique opportunity to witness and engage with some of the city’s most talented artists.
