Come and celebrate the official opening of the 2015 Brisbane Queer Film Festival with some good times and great company before the official screening of The Way He Looks (Hoje Eu Voltar Sozinho).

Leonardo is a blind teenager searching for independence. His everyday life, the relationship with his best friend, Giovana, and the way he sees the world change completely with the arrival of Gabriel.

Struggling towards a more independent life, Leo has to overcome the vulnerability orbiting his condition. Glimpsing a possible way to independence, Leonardo changes the way he looks at himself via the blossoming of new and intense feelings towards Gabriel.

The Brisbane Queer Film Festival opening night gala will commence at 6:00 pm, the film screening will begin at 7:00 pm.
