The Brisbane Mexican Festival is back, mi amigos! Roma Street Parkland is set to become even more beautiful and colourful, with the plan to turn Brisbane into Mexico for one entire day. It’s a fiesta!

Ten years ago, a group of Mexican expats and Australian locals gathered for a party to celebrate Mexican Independence Day. The event quickly grew each year, attracting more than 1000 people who couldn’t get enough of the lively Mexican culture. Thanks to strong support from the local government, the private sector and the community, the Brisbane Mexican Festival was successfully launched in 2015.

The day is filled with splendour to delight your senses with a packed schedule of live entertainment, food and folklore. Some of the activities and entertainment on offer include authentic Mexican eats and drinks, piñata breaking, salsa classes and of course some Mariachi.
