The St Patrick’s Day Parade is a long-standing annual event that promotes and celebrates the occasion of St Patrick’s Day, Irish culture and its contribution in the state of Queensland. The parade has been held amidst the streets of Brisbane city for the past 26 years, flooding the inner-city district with a colourful convoy of more than 80 floats and displays representing Irish culture that provide free community-oriented entertainment for all ages. The parade will leave from Queens Park at 10:30 am and run through Edward, Mary and George Streets in the CBD.
