Brisbane Ice Cream Festival
Tongues at the ready, people! All of our frosty dreams have come true – the Brisbane Ice Cream Festival is returning for its third year. Presented by West Village, the Brisbane Ice Cream Festival will once again take over the historic Peters Ice Cream Factory on Boundary Street for a day out dedicated to all things sweet, creamy and frozen. With pop-up stalls from some of Brisbane’s coolest dessert masters, the lick-worthy festival will feature ice-cream, gelato, popsicles and everything in between.
This year, Brisbane Ice Cream Festival will expand to be a two-day event, with three sessions on Saturday March 23 and Sunday March 24. As always, entry to the festival is free and will run in timed sessions to ensure everyone can get a scoop of the action. For entry, you will need to register for tickets for a session over the weekend. Doors will open for three separate, timed sessions each day from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, 1:00–3:00 pm and 3:00–5:00 pm. Please note: these sessions have all sold out.
Night owls, listen up – this year also sees the festival expand with two unique evening events! On Friday night an Up Late session will feature boozy ice cream creations and cocktails, while Saturday night will see a Chef’s Playground (when four of Brisbane’s best-known chefs will dish up ice-cream-inspired delights) take over The Bromley Room #2!
As the sprinkles on top, Brisbane Ice Cream Festival accommodates dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free and vegan dietary requirements—as ice cream should be enjoyed by all!
Ticket registrations for all sessions of the Brisbane Ice Cream Festival have sold out, but sales for the Up Late session and the Chef’s Playground session are still available – and they will sell out, so get in quick!
