Brisbane Festival is back, baby! The much-beloved festival has just announced that it will set our city alight from September 4–26 with a yet-to-be-announced but sure-to-be phenomenal program.
Although Brisbane Festival will look a lot different this year (no mass gatherings due to social-distancing regulations), if you happen to reside in a cul-de-sac, then you have the chance to enjoy a slice of the festival in your street! You’re invited to nominate your thoroughfare to host a once-in-a-lifetime pop-up event complete with live music and good times galore. If you think your street has what it takes, jump over to the Brisbane Festival website to nominate your street by 10:00 am Wednesday July 8 and tell the organisers in 200 words or less why you would like to host a concert in your street, then let Brisbane Festival plan the rest.
The full 22-day program will drop on Tuesday July 28, so keep your eyes peeled on the Brisbane Festival website for further information.
