Brisbane Festival at Eagle Street Pier

Get excited frolickers! Brisbane Festival is just around the corner and there’s no better place to celebrate than Eagle Street Pier.

The festival – running from September 3–25 – will bring Messengers of Brisbane to Eagle Street Pier, alongside a line-up of roving performers and a much-loved favourite, the Sunsuper RiverfireAs a part of Messengers of Brisbane, one of the giant Gouldian Finches will land at Eagle Street Pier so make sure you keep your peepers peeled. Created by internationally renowned artist, Florentijn Hofman, the birds themselves are brought to life by Brisbane’s Urban Art Projects. Eagle Street Pier’s roving performances will include fire twirling, neon acts, juggling and more across six festival dates from 5:00–8:00 pm – including September 9, 10, 17, 18, 23 and 24.

The Sunsuper Riverfire will return on Saturday September 25 to wrap up three incredible weeks of Brisbane Festival. One of the most electrifying displays in Australia, the firework spectacular will light up the sky from multiple bridges, barges and city rooftops, with Eagle Street Pier one the best spots in town to experience the breathtaking showcase. If you’re eager to book in dinner before the show, we suggest having a gander at the Eagle Street Pier website for all of the mouth-watering options.
