Brisbane Feminist Festival

Brisbane Feminist Festival is returning for its fifth year, and it promises to be our biggest year yet!

Held this year on July 27th at the beautiful Riverside Receptions New Farm, the Brisbane Feminist Festival will host speakers, workshops and panels to facilitate ‘radically ambitious and intersectional discussions’.

The Brisbane Feminist Festival is a key event created and hosted by the One Woman Project, one of Australia’s fastest-growing, youth-led, non-for-profit organisations, dedicated to promoting global gender equality through education and advocacy.

Running from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm the program is packed with spectacular entertainment, market stalls, and delicious food trucks. With inclusivity as the core focus there’s something for everyone with sessions including climate justice, colonialism, domestic violence, and navigating social media. Plus art workshops, children’s activities, and musical performances!

With tickets starting from just $25 for adults, and free entry for children under 10, come along and celebrate our fifth birthday with us and enjoy a full day of fun and thought provoking discussions!

This event is a safe and inclusive space for all participants including trans folk and gender diverse individuals. We will not tolerate trans exclusionary practices at this event. Similarly, this event is a safe space for other members of the LGBTIQA+ community, Indigenous peoples, people of colour, disabled people, sex workers and parents with children; discrimination of any sort will not be tolerated.
