Doomben racecourse will buzz with excitement in the early hours of the morning at the Breakfast with Stars event, part of the official final week celebrations of the 2015 Channel Seven Brisbane Racing Carnival.

Breakfast with the Stars is a free event where the general public are invited to watch some of Australia and New Zealand’s top horses at one of their final training sessions before the $2 million dollar AAMI Stradbroke, Australia’s greatest sprint race.

The public will be able to observe some of Australasia’s top thoroughbreds while enjoying a free hot breakfast.

The judging of the Paint a Horse competition, in which 16 Brisbane schools paint life-size horses to win a top prize of $4,000 for their school, will also take place at the event.

The competition, which involves schools researching the Queensland racing industry to create their own artwork on a fibreglass horse, will be judged by Channel Seven personalities and racing identities.
