Take part in this Botanical illustration workshop with artist Nicole Crosswell at Pine Rivers Art Gallery on Saturday March 7.

Part learning and part sharing, participants will be taught the skills of botanical illustration, capturing the beauty and meaning of the plants that surround our daily lives.

Bring in a plant cutting from your neighbourhood to sketch and capture its story. Where does your cutting come from? Was it handed down from generations? From your favourite tree in the street? Your next door neighbour’s veggie patch? Does it conjure a memory? Is it the weed from a footpath? All are neighbourhood connections.

There will also be an opportunity to swap cuttings and gardening tips.

Materials and light lunch included. Please ensure your chosen cutting is safe to handle and non-toxic.
