Professor Peter Roennfeldt will be speaking on the life of Madame Mallalieu (1842-1938), one of colonial Queensland’s acclaimed musicians whose Toowong residence later became a QCWA student hostel until the 1990s. His new book Madame Mallalieu: An Inspiring Musician and her Legacy for Queensland will be launched at this event. Bookings required.
