Blooms & Tunes
Welcome spring with good company and even better vibes at Blooms & Tunes, an afternoon of music and picnic goodness held in Brisbane’s inner-city tropical haven, Roma Street Parkland.
Taking place on September 11 and 12 from 1:00–5:00 pm at Celebration Lawn, Blooms & Tunes promises a relaxed afternoon of live jazz and blues matched with delicious picnic bites. Delight in the energetic sounds of Cigany Weaver, Mzaza and Jess Spina Quartet on the Saturday afternoon, while CC the Cat, Steele Syndicate and Birdman Randy and The Ivory St Preachers take to the stage on Sunday.
The Garden Room Café will be curating jam-packed picnic hampers, which can be matched with a BYO tipple of choice. Guaranteed to tantalise tastebuds, the baskets are full to the brim with a mouth-watering collection of fresh fare, including delicious crackers, home-made dips, cured deli meats and farmhouse cheeses to snack on. There will also be a selection of food trucks on hand, serving up your delicious delicacies like hearty burgers and refreshing gelato. Event goers are invited to raise a celebratory glass to 20 years of Roma Street Parkland, with the outdoor venue licensed from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Please note – whether packed or purchased, drinks must be accompanied by a substantive meal and consumers must be over 18 years of age.
Plus, Blooms & Tunes is dog-friendly, so you can bring along your four-legged friend too – just make sure they are on a leash at all times.
