From July 5–22, Aspire Gallery’s walls won’t be filled with colour, but rather over 70 works in only black and white.

Often it is said that an absence of colour provokes an individual to create their own magnificent pictures. This month, we presented a challenge to our artists – how do you show beauty, if the world is denied of colour?

Each and every artist took this challenge with stride, creating work that depicted the true beauty of the world in Black and White. The result is a magnificent exhibition of both emerging and established artists.
