Benefit for Annie – Featuring Special Guest Pete Murray

This time it’s just for Annie.

Diagnosed with ocular melanoma in May, 1987, Annie Stanton has spent the last 32 years courageously battling this disease. She has endured major operations and numerous radiation treatments in her valiant efforts to keep this horrible cancer at bay. This year, things have changed though, and sadly the cancer seems to be winning. This time, surgery is not an option; radiation treatment is limited, and drug therapy has only had minimal success at best. But with the support of her doctors, Annie will give every ounce of energy she has to the treatment. Annie is the founder of the Walking on Sunshine Foundation, which has raised more than $350 000 for cancer research over the past 15 years. Now we would like to support Annie and her family financially – It’s time for us to help someone who has given so much to help others.

To kick start our fund-raising endeavours, our wonderful WoS ambassador, Pete Murray, has agreed to headline a Benefit Concert for Annie at the Hamilton Hotel on Friday June 14th. Tickets are $50 and doors open at 7:30 pm.

This concert will sell out fast so get in quick.

Tickets will be released to the general public on Thursday May 23.

**Please note Level 1 – 442 Kingsford Smith Drive – No lift or wheel chair access to top floor in venue. No disabled facilities on this level**
