The timeless legend of Beauty and The Beast, complete with luscious costumes and loveable larrikins is on stage for Brisbane Arts Theatre’s final children’s production of 2018.

Lose yourselves in the magic of theatre, soaring music, adorably cute characters and the myth that a beast may turn into someone heavenly one day. Of course, in fairytales he does … and in this particular fairytale he was never an actual beast anyway. She just thought he was.

It is a reminder to look more closely at the people society shuns. Maybe there is more beneath the surface. For children and those of us who still dream with open hearts.
