Celebrate the 2016 Beaujolais Nouveau at Alliance Française de Brisbane! Like French wine, French food and French culture? Join us for a relaxed and friendly evening as we celebrate the release of the 2016 Beaujolais Nouveau!

During the evening you will tantalise your tastebuds with Beaujolais Nouveau wine made from the new harvest accompanied with French paired cheeses and tasty charcuterie. The evening will include a funny and entertaining quiz to challenge your knowledge about the traditional Beaujolais Nouveau in France, great prizes to be won on the night and the opportunity to taste and buy exquisite French cheeses thanks to our partner Black Pearl Epicure, and French charcuterie thanks to Deliss.

As  at previous editions, there will be a French choir with Beaujolais songs to kick off the evening, guest speaker Peter Scudamore-Smith, the tasting of the new 2016 Beaujolais Nouveau, exquisite bread and charcuterie.

Peter Scudamore-Smith will introduce you to Beaujolais. Peter holds the prestigious Master of Wine award—recognised as the highest achievement in the global wine community—and is the second person in Australia to be awarded this honour!
