Bacchus Restaurant Festive Season Lunch


It’s a busy time this festive season, so to make it easier, and more flavoursome, Bacchus Head Chef Massimo Speroni has announced lunch will be served on both Thursday and Fridays through until December 21!

The Bacchus Festive Season Lunch has two menu options – a lighter two-course experience for $59 per person, or a three-course dining option including exclusive Bacchus Christmas Petit Fours for $79 per person. It has been designed to fit either a working-style lunch, or a celebratory festive lunch.  The menu features dishes from the new a la carte menu recently released by Chef Speroni, including the bucket-list RISOTTO which stars 18-month San Daniele Prosciutto with rocket and basil pesto, complete with Vialone Nano rice from the northern Provincia di Verona in Italy.  The full menu includes:

Entrée
Beetroot – Textures of beetroot, goats curd, crispy amaranth, spiced beetroot vinegar
Snapper – Sashimi, capsicum dashi, yoghurt sphere & lime
Croquette – crumbed pork ragout, yoghurt and coriander
Duck – ravioli, carrot and consommé gel

Main
Risotto – Served al dente, rocket & basil pesto, 18-month San Daniele prosciutto, crescenza
Gnocchi – Fluffy fish pillow, cannellini, mussels, cuttlefish
Hanger Steak – Smoked eggplant, camel cheese
Salmon – black turtle bean, coconut and almond milk, baby gem lettuce and wild puffed rice

Dessert
Herb Sorbet – Celery, Absolut vodka, Tonka bean consommé
Mango – Valrhona Dulcey chocolate and mango textures
Chef’s Private Cheese Selection – Served with house made bread, lavosh & condiments

Bacchus Christmas Petit Fours served with Harney & Sons tea or Bacchus Bespoke blend coffee
