B Movies: Live! features a team of actors who bring a ‘B Movie’ to life, with suitably dodgy props, costumes and sound effects. A ‘B Movie’ is a low budget film, with “so bad it’s good” vibes.

Its first incarnation, Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster, had a sold-out run in the 2016 Anywhere Festival with later tours to Melbourne and Ipswich.

Now the gang are back with some even worse movies from the Hollywood vaults.

This year’s B Movies: Live! will present triple features, starring vampires, bugs and dinosaurs. Each night will be a different experience and different movie program – and it’ll be up to the audience to ensure the actors finish the show in one piece. The movies are held at Heya Bar in Fortitude Valley.
