Asian Food and Film: Parasite, The Farewell and Jimami Tofu Screening


The Asian Food and Film at BrisAsia Festival highlights the importance of Asian cinema and culture.

As BrisAsia Festival opens its doors to thousands of keen Brisbanites, savoring different foods from Asia and enjoying multicultural entertainment, the Asian Food and Film portion of the festival is gearing up to opening its doors from February 14 to 15.

This inaugural event held at BEMAC (Queensland Multicultural Centre), will feature three amazing Asian films which have attracted worldwide praise and accolades. Join this event on February 14 to watch the Gala screening of romantic film focusing on food called Jimami Tofu, and/or straight after you can check out Golden Globe winning Gala screening of film The Farewell will be shown which was both Golden Globe and Oscar winning.

To top it all off, there will be food packages available for those who want to experience eating Asian food whilst watching one or all of these great films on the big screen.
