Nina Maika (Te Arawa)
Nina Maika is a contemporary and traditional NZ Maori/Pacific artist based in the Moreton Bay Region.
Nina is a culturally creative community arts activator, using modern tools and methods intrenched in Maori and Pacific traditional cultures. A potent mixture of engaging cultural identity practices in an Australian landscape.
The beauty in Nina’s art work is the way all people are able to connect and identify to her NZ Maori culture and her arts practise. Nina creates art spaces where all people are always welcome.
