Angels in America

Angels in America

Twenty five years after its premiere, Angels in America is still hailed as the most ambitious American play of its time.

Angels in America is a magnificent celebration of survival. Chronicling the horror of HIV/AIDS in New York City during the 1990s, Tony Kushner’s award-winning play explodes with passionate energy as the themes of sexuality, cultural diversity, religion, politics and identity fight their way to the surface. This modern masterpiece has won numerous awards including the 1993 New York Drama Critics’ Circle Award for Best Play, a Tony Award for Best Play and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1993.

By arrangement with Hal Leonard Australia Pty Ltd, on behalf of Josef Winberger Ltd.
