An Evening With The Waifs

An Evening With The Waifs

This year marks The Waifs’ 25th anniversary, a momentous occasion for any band. The Waifs are celebrating and commemorating this event by touring An Evening With The Waifs across Australia in March and April, as well as releasing 25 songs recorded live and acoustic in band member Josh’s house in rural New South Wales. This latest album is called Ironbark, the title track and the name of the trees seen from Josh’s house whilst recording.

The fans had a say in all of this!  The Waifs asked themselves what album and what show the people who love them most would want them to create – so this one is for you guys. An Evening with The Waifs is two hours of music that spans the band’s 25 year history of touring with sets determined by input from fans, laced with stories and experiences.

Ironbark will be released as a double album on March 3, 2017. The band will be offering a very special ticket and CD bundle for as many venues as possible. Come along to experience a night of magic with some true Australian folk troubadours.
