Taking cue from the leaders of the Modernist art movement, this class focuses on Impressionist mark making in colour pastel.  Impressionism is a 19th-century art movement developed by French artists who sought to portray daily life through the effects of light and colour. Lauren will demonstrate how to capture these transient effects and depict objects with various mark-making and shading techniques to build your own impressionist artwork.
